I'm a Chicago guy. I love the city - I'm a Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bears fan and yes, Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player ever.
I'm an actor and a musician. I am an accomplished jazz and blues pianist, a rhythm guitarist, and a former saxophone player as well. I have been developing my own cabaret series, Piano Man, honoring and performing the music of Billy Joel. And I am a part of the band The Real Time, where I play piano, sing, and help compose Funk Rock tunes.
I have my own education business, teaching young artists music and chess. Yes, chess. I'm really good at chess - its one of my favorite games and I've felt grateful to share it with so many people over the past few years.
I love working out - I used to be a barre, yoga, and rowing instructor. At the moment, I'm focusing on my own fitness.
I studied acting at The Theater School at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. Since earning my B.F.A. in Acting, I have primarily worked out of Chicago's prestigious theater scene, working at the Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, Court Theatre, TimeLine Theatre, A Red Orchid Theatre, Drury Lane, the Marriott Theater, Paramount Theatre and Theater Wit. I am an ensemble member of American Blues Theater, where I have performed in over 5 Jeff Award winning productions. I am currently represented by Big Mouth Talent in Chicago.
In addition to stage, I have worked in TV on NBC's Chicago Fire and Chicago PD, as well as FOX's Empire and APB. I am also a voice actor, currently developing an audio series with my wife, Shannon Pritchard.
Currently, I am performing in Adam Immerwahr's production of Dial M For Murder at Drury Lane Theatre.
This past year, I performed in two Katie Spelman productions, understudying in the Jeff Award winning production of Natasha, Pierre, and The Great Comet of 1812 at Writers Theatre, and most recently portraying Earl in Paramount Theatre's production of Waitress.
This fall, I will be appearing in It's A Wonderful Life: Live in Chicago! with American Blues Theater this December at their new permanent home, 5627 N. Lincoln Ave.
As a pianist, I am playing, singing, and composing with The Real Time. I recently shot a music video for the Sidewalk Prophets new single, Looking Up.
